Program Garage Door Remote | Opener | In Car | Keypad | Genie

You will need to locate your smart or learn button to program a remote.  The smart button is a brightly colored button located above the antenna on the motor head.

Please note that the following model numbers are Liftmaster.  If you have a Craftsman or Chamberlain brand, they are interchangeable with Liftmaster, but have different model numbers.  Simply match the smart button color with the correct remote.

To program a Genie garage door opener you must first locate  a small black button with an led next to it.  This is the learn button.  This usually located either on the back of the motor head or the front under the light cove

Linear's programming button is called a smart button. The smart button is located on the side or the back of the motor head and is usually labeled.
